History
The company was formed in 1986 as a small family business consisting of specialist roofing contractors, Leo Mullen and his two sons, Daniel and Leo. All aspects of the business were run from the family home. The company expanded quickly and in 1990 Leo Snr. retired and the company employed a contracts manager, accountant, administrator, and multiple roofers.

Contracts were now being carried out for major house builders and a larger premises was required. By 1997, Steadfast had moved to our current address at Station Road, Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire.
In 1998, our sister company, Steadfast Roofing Merchants Ltd, was created to complement the contracting department by providing a comprehensive supply of quality roofing and tiling materials.
Both companies continued to grow and performed strongly and today are regarded as important players in the roofing supply and fixing industry.
Steadfast Roofing Limited would be pleased to welcome the opportunity to tender for Roof Tiling or Slating to a mixed range of roofs, varying from a £1 ½ million contract to the smaller private home.
As well as our comprehensive roofing services and products we are now able to offer a wide range of solar photovoltaic products. Steadfast Roofing Limited are MCS accredited. This means we are approved to commission, design, supply and install Solar PV panels and tiles.

It has been a busy month within the Estimating Department as we have secured a variety of excellent contracts. These are just some of them;
Bellcross Homes Ltd, are about to start their 2nd Phase at Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes. After working very closely with them on the 1st Phase, it is an honor to be invited back for the 2nd. The 1st Phase consisted of 57 Units, ranging from 1-3 bedroom flats to 1-4 bedroom houses, with porches, lower roof's and garages/carports. The 2nd phase has similar house types and spec but has 48 units.
Bloor Homes Ltd, are almost complete on the 1st Phase of their site in Little Casterton Road, Stamford and they are ready for us to start work on the 2nd Phase, with a total of 182 dwellings planned for the whole site. It is quite a large site to be involved in, with properties varying from 1-6 bedroom houses. Once again it is an honor to be invited back to work on the 2nd Phase, this reinforces the loyalty between Steadfast Roofing Ltd and Bloor Homes Ltd.
Crest Nicholson Ltd, Harefield Road, Uxbridge. This is a sizeable block of apartments with mixed construction of a 45 degree Mansard Roof. Tiled in Marley Edgmere with a Bailey Atlantic single ply flat roof above.

Steadfast Roofing Limited has been Granted Planning Permission for 4 New Office / Commercial Units of 11,000 Sq ft on Land at Station Road, Sharnbrook.
These 4 New Units will be for Office / Commercial use, with a landscaped garden to the front with ample car parking. Each Unit will consist of a warehouse style ground floor with sliding doors to front and a spacious office on the 1st floor, all newly designed for a fresh contemporary look. Building works are due to commence late August to early September bringing a new appearance to Station Road.
We have made many improvements since the purchase of 'The Yard' in Station Road back in 1997, including the refurbishment of 'The Engine Shed' in 2003.
This was an interesting and timely project as there had been a fire some time ago. We were however able to rescue the old beams and most of the original details and fixtures. Restoring 'The Engine Shed' back to its original condition with a modern twist and is now let for Office use.
The old and the new look of 'The Engine Shed' Sharnbrook.
